I was wondering if someone might be able to help me. First problem, I live in the states, so purchasing Silverflo 55 is a bit of a problem for me here. I have been looking at a couple weld supply shops in my area and I noticed that I can purchase Safety-Silv 56. From what I can see the specs look close to silverflo 55: Safety-Silv 56 Silverflo 55 Might anyone one be able to look at these spec and advice me if they think solder will be good for use of soldering a boiler? Thank you in advanced for your help.

Get your joint design and heating technique right and, as ever, the joint will be stronger than the parent materials. Both alloys are readily available in the USA. Try also Handy & Harman. I don't know if they will supply small quantities economically. If not try **LINK** Keith |
