dust extractors

normally take my sanders outside to do my sanding.

but moving soon and will have space for dedicated space for grinding and sanding.

looking for recommendations for decent dust extractors pls.

be used on clarkson and belt sanders, not prob if i have to swap pipe over as will only be using one at a time.

nb - I have a cabinet version, surplus to requirements. Built like the proverbial and, therefore, it has been disassembled so that I could move it. It is, apparently, a top-end version with a chamois leather filter and little used. PM if interested.

I've had a CamVac CGV286-2-WALL hung on the wall of my guitar workshop for years, does everything asked of it, piped in to various blast gates around the workshop. Not expensive and reliable.

Axminster Tools show quite a range of Extraction Systems in my latest copy of their Catalogue.

I do not know if they have what you need, worth a look at their Website though, very helpful people too.

the schappach HA1000 seems to be sold by many, the only difference would appear to be the colour and the price (Screwfix were offering it at ?100 but their offers come + go) catch is it is basically a drum with a very noisy(97 dBa) fan mounted in the removable lid sucking air thro a cartridge bag filter - works well but if you can mount it outside the workshop much better - the metal blastgates sold by Axminster I found to be much better than their cheaper plastic ones.
There would appear to be no standardisation as to how an extraction pipe is fitted to various tools nor the diameter of the necessary fitting - I cobbled together some outlets using the plastic rectangular conduit readily available from B+Q etc and the hoses sold as accessories for the Henry vac cleaner similar to those sold by Axminster but much cheaper at my local supplier of industrial cleaners / professional kitchen suppliers - they also sold plastic ends that screwed onto the same threads as used for the 60mm approx hoses as well as fittings that can be easily fitted into the plastic channel.
