![]() 1860 forum posts 121 photos | I need a low temp solder to seal a part on a tender. Its soldered together with leaded plumbing solder so I guess it melts 180-250 degrees. Is there anything which will work for brass below this temperature? |

![]() 517 forum posts 57 photos | Hi Fizzy, Have a look at the Carrs range of solders as used for building etched brass kits. Some of those are low melting point and I've used them in the past for various jobs including soldering tanks and tenders. I got my stock from C&L Finescale. John |
