Unfortunately I'm working Wednesday so I'm unfortunately unlikely to join in. Hope it all works well for the rest of you.

regards Martin

Be great to see you Pete. Sorry Martin but we will have to try a few different times to give everyone a chance.

I should be able to join this one, and thanks for making it a suitable time. I have not done any of these zoom type things before so will need instructions please.

And you can get to the meeting however deep the snow is (provided your phone lines haven't come down) laugh that should reassure the guys in Oz in case they are worried about freak weather.

Bazyle

Please could you sign me in for the meeting. I will have to leave for five minutes to attended to a food delivery but that is my problem.

Keep your eyes peeled for the details which I will post shortly for the meeting on Wednesday 6 Jan at 9am UK.
It will be hosted by St Albans MES so will not be limitted to 40 minutes but we might call a halt after about 90 minutes as people need coffee breaks. You can of course join late, nip out and rejoin or whatever suits you.

In order to give the meeting some additional focus it will feature a talk by the Chairman of St Albans MES titled

“Taking on a part built Stirling Single in 5” Gauge”

The meeting will start with a general chat from 9am as people join with the talk starting at about 9:15, then 45minutes talk followed by question time and then perhaps some breakout rooms for more discussions.
Does anyone have topics they want a breakout room to concentrate on? From topics covered on here popular subjects are "Which machine", "How to xxx", ????

I have sent a PM to everyone who has shown an interest incase they don't read the thread, Takes ages as there doesn't seem to be a bulk emailing system.

Don't be putoff if you are still in your pyjamas or don't have a camera, you can still participate as a name only and listen in and view the presentation. You do need headphones or a speaker system but only need a microphone if you want to talk. There is a mute system that can catch people out. find the button at the bottom left of your screen usually.

Sorry I missed it as I had to sort out a puncture on the car. Luckily I have all the right kit to sort it out and not have to find a tyre centre
