My point was that thinking doesn’t come into it ... we are witnessing the subconscious at work. MichaelG. Are we? How do we know? . We don’t know ... it was an hypothesis: a possible explanation for an observed phenomenon. MichaelG.

For anyone open to another view. This is what front line doctors think: ... Bwahaha. That's the same doctor who says modern medicines contain alien DNA. A real reliable source for sure. Which one of those doctors? Be honest, you haven't watched the video have you? I have - it's carp. They should be struck off. Early on Dr. Stella Immanuel explains how the effect Hydroxychloroquine has on hiccups proves the drug is effective against Covid-19. Seriously flawed logic. "America's Frontline Doctors" are a right-wing group not frontline doctors! Members have controversial political and personal views. The main medical agenda of the group is promotion of the anti-malarial drug Hydroxychloroquine, prices of which rocketed after being recommended by President Trump. Unfortunately Hydroxychloroquine since been shown to have no beneficial effect on Covid-19 patients. The UK's Recovery Trial (1542 patients given the drug) concluded: 'The results showed 25.7% of people taking hydroxychloroquine had died after 28 days. This compared with 23.5% who were given standard hospital treatment.' Not all doctors are trustworthy. I'd cheerfully leave this lot to the tender care of Dr Harold Shipman! I'm so looking forward to the upcoming 'How did we end up here?' thread. |

If you tweak the social density numbers for the UK and exclude the backwater of Scotland it goes up to 380 people per km Japan is 335 Now take out Northern Ireland and we get... drumroll 404 folk per sq km People are packed like fish in a barrel in Engerland, India is 420 ppkm2 Amazed by those figures and still surprised after 20yrs here to note the lack of traffic on the roads in this area, I checked the pop density of our department, the 2nd least densely populated in France, to find it is 29/km² or if my maths is correct 11.31/mile². Small wonder it seems quiet, even compared to Wales. Mind you living in a village pop=156 it's always going to be quiet. Just to compare with Hopper's locale, Queensland is 2.5/km² !
