4 forum posts | Many thanks Jason, I did e-mail Warco, but have not had a reply as yet, will try them by old fashioned phone and see if I can rouse them lol, I have seen a mini mill/hobby drill pictured amongst their larger machines, but think this may be discontinued as I don't see it listed in their current info |

2 forum posts | Hi Guys, new to the forum and looking to buy a small mill to compliment my Le Blond Regal 10 lathe. I had settled on either the Warco WM 14 or the Sieg SX2 Plus. Space is an issue and I would prefer morse taper, Imperial scales and single phase. Any thoughts? |

83 forum posts 20 photos | Hi Matt / Chris I've had a Warco WM14 for some time now and as Neil says digital scales are easy fitted and relatively inexpensive and you would be able to flit between imperial and Metric at the mere touch of a button. really it's how big and aggressive do you want to mill, I'm quite aggressive with mine sometimes and it seems to foregive It also has good flexibility of use. so cost is the only constraint, oh and accessories / support. |

2 forum posts | Thank you for that. I agree DRO is the way ahead. Good to see that the WM14 can take a bit of stick! |

![]() 2947 forum posts 468 photos | Hi Matt / Chris FYI... I have the WM16 with MT2 spindle (past 2 yrs); it does all I ask it to so far without any complaining, so far I have fitted DRO's to the X & Y axes & a 12v power drive to the x axis... pics in my album showing them being fitted, also in the thread ... http://www.model-engineer.co.uk/forums/postings.asp?th=83460 George Edited By mechman48 on 14/10/2014 20:49:32 |
