For those not in rthe UK ( proberbly know), for parafin read kerosene. Diesil would do instead I imagine, and at the price of kero in NZ, would be preferable. Ian S C In this part of the world it's called "Petrole" don't confuse it with petrol! Russell. |

2276 forum posts 801 photos | Neil, I have a have stick of wax (about 70mm dia x 250mm long) that I purchased from the company where I get my band saw blades. Don't know what type of wax but it makes cutting easier. I just run the saw thru it before I make a cut. |

459 forum posts 28 photos | Paul just be careful with some of the alternatives to proprietary cutting fluids and lubricants, lard and rapeseed oil and the like will go rancid in the chip tray, probably a lot quicker in Oz than they do here. Chris Gunn |
