Saw a warehouse fire in Nottingham last month on the news and the fire crew were using a large commercial Simons platform rented in for the job. Makes a lot of sense not owning everything and being responsible for the maintenance. Something with a reach this large would put a big demand on the fire service as regards training and logistics. All the local crane hire people are on a roster to attend any major incident at East Midlands Airport. John S. |
