I might envy or admire other’s work, but an achievable target, and need, is required to follow in the footsteps of those previous inventors, designers or makers. |

I keep mulling over whether to have a go at making a Triumph trident T150 engine, I have the full size version so a ready source of information. Mike Hi Mike, thats a great idea, ! I have seen some great models of bike engines and motorcycles as well.. Bert Whites 1.3. Blackburn as serialised, and others... or a later motomartin perhaps? Or les Worthington made a bsa gold think it was 1:4 scale or 1/3 ...me if you want some info! Oh some nice uncomplicated! vee engine/ single appeared in me in the 90’s (Mr Wheeler) , and I am sure i did see a Tr 150? In a old me issue...oh just remembered a suzuki gs 550 ! Kind regards vic |

![]() 508 forum posts 98 photos | Many years ago a countdown device for the start of TV programs inspired me to build my Fibre Optic Clock. At the time of seeing the device, I had neither the time, or equipment to enable me to build the clock, and over the years the idea of just how I would go about making it changed many times. It took about 40 years before I finally got the time and equipment to make a start. As the thing was made almost entirely from scrap, it then took about 4 years to complete, because I often had to wait for the right size lumps of brass to arrive at the scrapyard. The end results can be found in the clock section. Dek. |
