1719 forum posts 1 photos | Fwiw, there's an online version of Sketchup here which you can use in a browser window and it allows you to export into an STL file which is then downloaded to your computer. |

Designspark is still free from RS components. Download it from here Designspark is much better than sketchup for mechanical parts if you dont fancy Fusion 360 regards Steve |

1074 forum posts 290 photos | I downloaded the STL from Thingiverse but it wouldn't print on my Ultimaker. It turned out that some of the components were not on the base plane. I retrieved the SKP file, moved things around a bit, saved as STL and it's now printing OK. |

1486 forum posts 105 photos | Gary, thanks for that, I was a little concerned about the conversion file not having the ability to open it myself. If you could send me the modified STL I will exchange it for the one in the files section so that it doesn't go wrong for anyone else. |
