Hats off, Nick.

A great profile and what a wealth of information on your website.

I wonder if other members will be spurred on to open up their own profiles.

Regards,

Thank you Sam! I really appreciate the compliment.

I do hope other members will do something like this as well. That way we get to know each other, weather you're living in the outback or in Honolulu. Doesn't matter because we're on this site with one and the same reason. Why not know each other as a person instead of remembering somebody by a nickname?

My website is growing (in size that is, I'm not interested is the amount of visitors), I don't put articles/pages on it every day, not even every month, but I do like to keep it updated every once in a while.

Regards,

Nick aka Nico

Let's keep the good things coming bro! Or should I call you "Mate"? Different places different habits.Different names for somebody you would call a friend.

Hello
We live near Limoges and are looking for model engineering friends nearby. Confolens sounds good. Can you let us know how to contact you ?

It seems that there are now four of us living relatively close to each other in France.

Namely the Poitiers/Limoges area.

Would it be an idea, to choose a mutually condusive place and date, to meet each other ?

Perhaps a lunch, somewhere ?

I, for one, would prefer to do this, before sharing too many details of where I live, etc. One of you might be a mass murderer, or just too plain wierd. Or, we may simply not like each other very much ... angel

No offence intended, and I would love to meet some like minded people; but, not when I find him at the foot of my bed, wielding an axe, at three O'clock in the morning. disgust

What do you guys think ?

ATB,

Daniel

Hi, new to this site but have been reading Model engineer for the past 50 odd yearsI have lived in france for the past 16 years and have found very few people over here interested in model engineering..Just wondered if anybody on the forum lives over here or has knowledge of clubs etc?

Hi Michael,

I have lived over here since 2007, the last 8 years near Aix en Provence. There is a small club (VAP) run by one of the contributers to ME/MEW, Jacques Maurel based around the Aix/Marseille area. **LINK**

Regards,

Simon

If everybody agrees we can meet at my place.

I'm not afraid of serial killers, I'm married to a sniper. wink 2

Now, how do I send a message to all 3 of you?

I will send you a PM with my contact details as well as my e-mail address. That way we can get in contact and just send a CC (Carbon Copy) to all participants by e-mail.

I really don't see how a CC can be done in a PM.
