I did spot a member's signature on a photography forum along the lines of;

"My biggest fear is that when I die, my wife will sell all my gear for what I told her I paid for it. "

I just thought a reminder to some of our new members that it is handy for others to know roughly what part of the world they live in , so that when a question is asked, or help is needed, someone near by can be of assistance, we are spread from New Zealand to Sweden, USA to Thailand, and no doubt further afield.

Interesting time to bring this thread back to life Ian when it may seem members are actually trying to protect themselves from the attension of spammers rather than their wives. After remarks on the track cycling commentry I won't say keeping them from those who open the tin of spam.
