I'm having a go at making a small two stroke glow plug engine, what could possibly go wrong!?

Found one of those in my bed last night!

I was hoping to have a look but the weather was socked in all day.

Well that must make me an absolutely jammy sod then, because my scratch built flame licker runs like a treat and I cannot say that it is built with any great precision.

How about this one?

Should be do-able on a Taig along with plenty of "armstrong" milling. On my Taig the biggest problem I had was holding anything firmly enough in the three jaw chuck, the ali soft jaws did'nt grip tightly enough and workpieces were always shifting out of true. Get a four jaw. The Sherline lathe use's the same spindle nose thread if you want a better chuck, but then you think "Shall I spend money on the Taig or would it be better put towards a bigger machine."

Just a thought, Any grease or oil on the drive belt?

I found that the chain lube I was using on the backgears was getting sprayed on to the belt causing it to slip under load.

Trouble is, there was rather a lot of grey hair in that film.

I got my engine back together after painting and making a stand for it.

This is a little burner I made recently.

A buzzard is a Big bird that looks more like a kestral to me.

I'm suprised no one has mentioned Clickspring.

There should be a M6 threaded hole on the right side of the carriage to take a M6 by 25 bolt.
