I don,t think you could do any better than looking at the GL5MLA website and bring up the pages on standards, all the info you will need is contained in the wheel standard page. There has been a number of articles in M.E. over the years on wheel profiles, David Hudson and Dennis Monk were two members that did a great deal of work on the topic which were incorporated into the GL5 standards, look at the back to back measurement as well, which has changed since your drawings were produced

Hi Barry, just to support Julians post ,it is a super little loco, you may already be aware that Model Engineers Laser do a load of parts for both t. and t. versions if you want a quick build. There are a number of both types running, and one or two are super detailed, there is a modification on the combination lever which improves the valve events by John Heslop, you will see it in the letters page on one of the LLAS issues, and it does work!

Yes the boiler plates were not flanged, but nobody would build it like that ,The model was built to a scale

of 1" to 1ft, not the usual 1 1/16" which is the norm for 5" gauge , but other wise a nice little model

A huge number have been built, and run very well ,staying and working in steam for 8 hours or more, but a little advice , start building ! while it is well worth while spending time looking for errors, it is so easy to wait until you think you are going to build the perfect engine, it will never happen, Doug Hewson has redrawn , and produced lazer cut part to scale, Don Ashton has produced improved valve gear arrangements, I thought I would do the same for theB1 ( Springbok) which has more errors than would fill a book, and wasted years, could have had two built two by now LBSC did produce engines that would run and work, go fot it!!
