Ditch the tenacity 5 for easy flow especially on small jobs. Flux will go glassy and then seem to disappear that’s the point when it all happens.

you don't make it clear if they are tanged or threaded, the ones I have are tanged and are under the bench and thats where they will stay

good luck with butchering a calliper they are B hard. Horizontal scale on my peatol has been in use for at least 10 years and they come with the holes in them Bonus!!!

sorry Richard but the 1.2 dimension does not appear on my original drawing. the mix of dims are there to enable people to imagine the sizes as some people think in imperial and some in metric. It looks like you have made a good job of it and I hope it gives you pleasure using it. Try putting your screws in with tweezers.

I built one in the recent past from an article and it must be MEW as its the only one I take but had lots of trouble getting it to work so made the super Hemingway one brilliant and repeatable results.

DAG Brown has done articles in the past but there is one in ME Jan/Feb 1995 by Roland Gyllander from Sweden. i have made his jig but found it susceptible to variable hand pressure so have adapted it to fit directly on the T and C table removing the variable hand pressure problem. I have made a start on a article for MEW about the adaption but not finished yet! and sometimes think people have had enough of four facet articles. if interested drop me a PM
