Hi Dias

I would like a copy of your connection diagram as I am also a bit of an old duffer with electronics but love to play.

I have the motor, power supply and the 6560 controller and am ready to roll although I am very slow so in the next few month. Lol

Thread: Anyone here got Amazon Echo Plus, Alexa?
06/04/2018 12:35:58

I am not saying they save time and energy but if you were disabled in any way they could be a godsend. a great use of technology. they should get better and with more uses added all the time.

who would have thought that most people would need a mobile phone a few years ago. now they are a great device to keep on you. and they get better all the time.

I have the google home mini. I think it is great I use it for radio streaming. just say "ok google play radio 2" other stations are available. it controls the heating via a hive hub, turns on wifi plugs by voice command and you can ask it questions that can save you logging in and finding out the hard way. they can and will be able to do many more things especially if you have google on your mobile phone as it knows when you are close to home and can turn up the heating for you when getting close or turn on an outside light when you are near to aid night time trips from the car. just check out the ifttt app. it stands for if that then this, and can link devices by logical operators. ie if it is 3 degrees in the room then turn on the heating or if you are close to home turn on the kettle and the hall light or just the kettle if it is daylight hours.I love it

Thread: Scraping Blue?

I too made scrapers from old files and still have them. I even ground the teeth off on the surface grinder. I also prefer them to the sandvic carbide scrapers.

A good way to join it with strength is with a product like lumiweld. It can be done on a cooker flame. And uses a stainless rod to rid the weld puddle of oxidation. I have used it on motorcycle parts. And have never rebooked any of them.

the LO2 is london OB truck two. and no 3 would be head number 3

05/10/2017 18:56:30

i work for the bbc. they are part of a camera pan and tilt head as seen in the picture from Journeyman. london obs. was indeed london outside broadcasting co which was sold to SIS the company that used to provide the tv screens for betting offices.they made no money from outside broadcasting and all the equipment for obs was sold about 5 years ago. some of which was bought by BBC wales(where I work) including a few large trucks.

just google wiper seals for info.

bri

15/09/2017 12:44:52

not sure an o ring is the answer. a wiper seal lets the oil act on the wiper area allowing a greater effective seal.maybe one could be incorparated in to your design.
