Try a branded spiral point tap, you'll not look back.

I would suggest that a spiral flute tap would be the best buy for all threading. Swarf comes out of the hole towards you, much better than a spiral point if the hole is blind.

Years ago at work we had a M113 armoured personnel carrier which was used as a mount for Green Archer mortar tracking radar.

Driver moved ahead and the lid came down above his head. In the confusion it crawled over the edges of a number of parked cars in our carpark.

Even when the back gear is locked by the lever there can be sufficientt clearance to allow the back gear to rock a little, hence noise. Goes away when the item being turned places a firm load.

Thread: Another EVRI calamity.

Interesting to note Hermes is the Largest Courier in the UK 700 Million parcels per year so I understand. The problem appears to be the last leg, ie those who deliver.

One of my parcels thay claimed they could not deliver, too big.(long) and submitted an extra invoice. I asked them to prove it by menas of a photograph (since they always use photos etc) They backed down!

Not only evri claim wrongly. "Handed to customer" seems a popular wording, never have. It's drop it and run to the next delivery.
