Anyone know of a chap called Doug Roseman? I'm told he's a member of the model engineering community.

Visited Carter's Steam Fair yard open day today and expressed interest in modelling some of the engines & rides, particularly/initially the swing boats. Unfortunately they don't keep any drawings, but this chap has done some models of their kit and may be able to help, or at least be a good bet to talk to on the subject.

By the same token, if any of you know of any good resources for general drawings or mechanical descriptions of fairground rides, I'd be most grateful!

And if you fancy a larger scale then Reeves do the Nicholas Organ engine, Polly do the Savage one to Anthony Mount's design or do as I did and just use photos to arrive at my 2/3rd scale Tidman organ engine.

There was a very nice centre engine and gallopers that used to be shown at Guildford

Cherry Hill also has a nice ctr enngine
