Seeing as the OP has bought the cheapest of the cheap many times over with nothing but problems it's hardly surprising that he's latched onto an 'assembler' of machine parts from spurious Chinese trading companies in an effort to save a further 5 cents.

The annoying part is after buying all this crap he then traps others into helping him in his quest for a Monach 10EE for 29 AUD

Problem is the advert site is running on very old software and may things have moved on. We have gone from XP thru to Windows 10 and many forms of browser.

The site clearly needs an upgrade from the old Joomla software it runs on.

It costs a fair bit to run the site as regards bandwidth etc but it's not about the money.

What it is about is the time to do a complete re-write on more modern software and then field all the posts that say they don't like the changes.

We have run the site now since 2005 and if truth is known it's really time to hand over to a new set of hands.

Neither small son or myself can spare the time for a re-write on something that never even clears expenses and as you can see from the replies above some can access it no problems and others can't so does the problem lie at our end or the users end ?

Over the last 30 years I have managed to fill a 4 drawing filing cabinet with surplus bearing in the hope they come in useful one day.

TBH it never happened, all that did happen is I'd spend 1/2 hour at commercial rates looking for a two pound bearing.

About a year ago I loaded the whole lot up into the truck and weighed the lot in.

Result, more space, less clutter and no wasted time looking for something I'd never find.

Just been sorting out and found a brand new unread copy, still in its shipping carton from the States.

Often called the bible by many I have put it on the home workshop advert site for £60 post paid to any UK address.

Still available as a private printing in the US at over $100 with shipping.

Didn't sell the silver steel.

Bonus from this is piece of mind from a one stop selling point of view, they don't pick over it, they take everything and if at a later date when the new workshop is built at the new house I can go back and cherry pick what I want for free, knowing that I'll only want a metre of this and that.

Even the Myford ML1's to 5's were adulterated junk

Local company contacted me last week as they had heard on the local grapevine that I was downsizing with the result that they paid a visit and after 10 minutes of horse trading they bough the whole stock of steel, brass, alloy, stainless and all the spare sheet and profile that was so handy to fabricate bits out of.

They also bought the power saw and three of the welders.

So on Monday two guys rolled up with a long bed Transit pickup and loaded the first lot, or rather overloaded the first lot

Problem is you can't see where they have been. I reckoned on about 4 tonnes but this first load had to be well over a tonne so not sure now just what was there.

So when they are finished that will be every bit of steel and alloy off the premises except for some oddment in a couple of drawers.
