Thread: digi phase converter for 10 machines..... |
04/10/2023 11:54:55 |

Adding a motor to turn it into a rotary converter improves the phase balance and provides a degree of energy storage beneficial for starting machines with direct on line motors. The downside is that the motor adds a level of noise and inefficiency. Static converters are reasonably tolerant of supply issues that some countries power distribution systems may provide.
could this be done by letting a machine not being used run.

Thread: Putting on a fine cut.. |
25/06/2023 15:08:20 |
working to those limits you will also need a tempture controlled workshop and some very high end machine's. as for measuring equipment i don't know. but i do know it will need calibrating professionally. i have never worked to those limits, however i do work in the aerospace industry where such equipment is the norm. |

Hello All. . It seems that bog standard tin snips are unable to make such cuts without severely bending & deforming the blank.
Thank you. if used correctly all the distortion will be on the off cut and the job remains flat |

could put more than one beam from side to side to increase load capacity Yes, minimum of 2, maybe 3 or 4. Working out what the minimum needed would be. Depends entirely on what you plan to store on the shelf. A row of motorbike petrol tanks would be ok with one beam and a sheet of plywood attached to the wall of the shed. A row of truck gearboxes would need a lot more. the OP did specify the weight . |

if i read this right you are going to buy a welder to learn to weld to make a hoist to move one lathe. a hoist you most likely will hardly ever use.i hardly ever used my hoist when i was repairing cars its just a waste of space now. i would recommend renting one. |
