The easiest way to describe it is to gently take one apart and you will see how it all works. If you have the ones I think you have, with the toggle on the top open (vertical) a sprung loaded pin will be retracted from a hole above the little sight glass, allowing the oil to drip. If this isn't happening you undo the locking knurled wheel under it and turn the cap to gently move the toggle upwards until the hole is open. If you do it the right amount it will shut when the toggle is flicked over. I was once told by an older machinist that the "right amount" of flow is when you are just about getting bored and wondering if it will ever drip... and then it does. obviously that is very subjective!

It could be that the lubricator is blocked, or the mesh at the bottom is gunged up. Again, you will only know if you carefully take it apart, laying it all out in order. It will soon make sense. Just be careful not to damage the glass.

That connector does seem a bit of a silly design.

Bank transfer doesn't give customers any comeback in the event of issues; I would politely suggest you find a method for people to pay via card, paypal etc as although your current circumastances are entirely understandable, it does mean that the state of flux means people may be less confident paying for expensive items in a way which means their money could disappear if any further issues crop up.

I think we need a bit more info or even better some photos; It's going to sound like pedantry but it really will help us narrow down what you need!

Are you referring to the double sided ploughs pulled by ploughing engines? I assume you are not talking about the ploughing engines themselves?

I've still yet to find a file that gives as nice a finish as the one on my old leatherman! I think it is an industrial diamond coating of some kind. It doesn't seem to dull, gives a mirror finish and can be unclogged easily.

I'll give those Arc files a try too; I'm sick of poor quality needle files from allegedly good names. Of course, in my case this could be the workman blaming his tools....

The ETPS used to use equipment like this mounted to the top of a 4x4 (a Jeep is the first one I remember, a Nissan Navara later) on tall cross-braced poles mounted on a roof rack. This anemometer combined with a large fluorescent pole allowed them to do rotary wing cross-wind trial flying up and down the runway in close formation with the vehicle giving them a good visual point of reference, and a telemetry uplink of wind speed and direction (cross referred to the vehicle GPS speed) to the recording systems to allow them to collate the data together. However the point of interest here is that the poles were mounted high enough above the vehicle to try to counteract the affect of the airflow displaced by the vehicle. I seem to remember to total height from the floor was more than ten feet, but don't recall exactly. Anyway, this was considered enough separation to be good enough for their needs. So you need a roof-rack and some cross braced poles! And I would use GPS rather than the speedo. If you use a long straight on a calm day you could go in both directions and take an averaged reading over multiple runs.

I know Model Engineers Laser do laser cut spanners in small sizes (BA I think), they often add to their line up based on customer requests. Assuming they can physically do it they would probably be keen to add to their possible stock list.

I went on Saturday and came back with a SR Signallers lamp and a tap reseating tool....
