I live in the Highlands of Scotland and EV are not practical as their are very few charging points and unless there are EV with four wheel drive and low ratio gearboxes they will never be any good up here!

The big problem the EV backers hide is the fact the damaged caused to the environment by extracting the raw materials to make the batteries and the pollution problem caused by the end of life of the batteries.

To mine 1000kg of cobalt you need mine 1,500,000 kg of material.

All the techniques they used to make the truck chassis are the same that are used making and repairing vintage car chassis's.

As of 1st April 2022 it is illegal to run generators on red diesel unless it is for non commercial use.

Been using Brundles for years very good company. Family owned, on fourth generation I think now. If you tell them you are from REMAP you may get them for nothing.

Another old method is to coat the part with solder paste and heat up after assembly.

Sulphuric acid is still readily available. Just buy Oneshot drain cleaner.

A saturated solution of salt and vinegar will remove zinc plating from nuts and bolts.
