Yes they're a very good company. Before retirement I worked at a school and we used them a great deal - never had a problem.

Having been stung a couple of times I now won't  buy or sell anything of more than very minor value outside the EU and I don't use eBay's dreadful Global Shipping Program. Don't find I'm losing out much - if at all.

Back in the early '60s I had several Fords with column change and 3 seater bench seat- Zodiac, Zephyr, Consul. Slid around on every bend!

Installing Ubuntu is as complex as sticking in a DVD and checking a few questions.

I haven't used MS Windows for many years. I use Ubuntu and have not had any problems at all.

I don't wear a watch at all. I've no need for one since I retired and I can guess the time to the next meal fairly accurately.

I've made several of these over the years and have always used a method similar to that laid out above by Phil H1.

Quickest and simplest way.

I remember their catalogue which needed several large volumes and that we received several editions each year. There always seemed to be piles of the things.

Many schools use RS, or at least those I've worked in do.

Made a handful by milling two corners of a strip of mild steel then chopped it into short lengths and drilled and tapped them.

But it doesn't work like that. I get my pension whatever I do or don't do. Whether I surf the net, read this forum or I'm in my workshop making swarf it has no affect on my income.
