Can't see why it wouldn't be genuine enough, just a mistake in allowing ebay to add postage price.

I don't think my postie would like to carry a lathe up from the delivery office, even though it's only at the end of the road. I's not sure the first class stamp would stick to it anyway.smiley

Start by looking at the selling feedback for the seller. Likely some simple reason, like he has included most of the shipping in the starting price. Scammers usually have 100% feedback rating for small purchases, then launch into a big fraud - and run before epay catches up with them.

Reading the auction details very carefully should protect any purchaser - and pay by paypal, so you can get your money refunded if it all goes bellypup. Buyer beware is the usual warning for any epay deal.

Says free collection in person so if your offer was accepted just take cash and pay on collection provided you are happy with the goods -- if it looks dodgy --walk away !
