To prove the input/ RF filter board, remove mains in & mains out, join them together, like for like. Power up, Go = board duff. No Go = fault elsewhere.

Not sure what size, but old (Copper) coins have their uses.

Metalworker Drill press, capacitor failed. Got one from RS Components, approx. £6 post free,

The new capacitor wouldn't fit inside the box, so strapped it to the motor. Perfect!

Just five minutes after J.S. had posted the pictures, only the top half inch was visible, the rest was green & yellow horizontal stripes, then a few minutes later just "'X's".

I have a Clarke Metal Worker drill press, always had bother with the keyed chuck, lack of grip.

Since reading the posts about using all the positions to tighten the chuck, its been fine. Thank you.

On the last Win10 update, about a week ago, it managed to stop Norton AV working. Giving error code 8504,104

Have uninstalled it, and installed a new one. Got the headache, free download!
