I've done a Google search but only come up with one company offering small scale sections in brass and they're all metric. I'm after both angle and channel with a 3/16th dimension on all sides and a 1/32nd wall thickness. The model railway guys used to be spoiled for suppliers back in the day so if anyone knows of a company still in business, would you mind sharing? K&S (available almost everywhere and it's clones - Albion Metals) won't do as it's too thin and folded. It needs to be milled. Thanks.

I am fairly sure that Roger Melton at Just the Ticket, (01980 610058 or [email protected]) will be able to assist you. His catalogue lists loads of milled imperial brass strip and sections, sold by the yard. Usual disclaimer applies.

Eileens Emporium has a massive range but mostly metric, you may have to look to the US for imperial.

Chris, would (if you can get it), 5 mm x .75 mm, It will be a few thou wide, a few swipes with a file on the flanges, and you'll be back to 3/16". Ian S C
