Make a nut to fit the feed pipe in the tender,drill a hole through the nut,put a 20mm dia x 1mm deep counterbore in the top end of the nut,solder the gauze into the counterbore there you have it a filter removable for cleaning. I have looked through my old ME mags to try to find a steam valve drawing all the ones i can find are either 3/16 (for 2-1/2" guage) or big ones 3/8". has anyone got a drawing for one for 1/4" x 40 that they can let me have?
The valve will be used for the steam feed to my new injector.
