Would someone advise me of a supplier for the castings for this model.

Though I have the serialised "Martin Evans " build articles I am having great difficulty in establishing whether there is a supplier of the castings.

You can also put a "wanted" advert in places like homeworkshop

Many model locomotive designs in a range of gauges were serialised by Martin Evans in the pages of Model Engineer. The castings with which to machine and build these designs are in many cases still available from commercial suppliers such as Reeves 2000[5] (formerly A.J. Reeves) and Blackgates Engineering;[6] as well as laser cut components by Model Engineers Laser.

Hornby do this littel fellow in various liveries:

Described (incorrectly) in some quarters as a 'Pug', it seems to have a family resemblance to Singapore.

Thank you to all who responded to my request for help.

I was given the name of a supplier ( GS Supplies ) who has taken over patterns for this locomotive , and which are being looked at currently with a view to arriving at Casting prices .

I have not previously dealt with GS but already I am pleased with the prompt reply to my enquiry and, therefore, have high expectations of product quality and service, and perhaps a forlorn hope of economic ,as in cheap prices.face 1

Tight screws, and regards to all

Hi Dave, have you checked Station Road Steam?

I think they have a set of castings listed at the moment.

Brian; thanks, Yes I had checked them out but those castings were sold in April.

Kind of you to notify me though.
