![]() 1531 forum posts 44 photos | Ok, how? Right then, I've uploaded a number of photos into one album titled, er, Photos. ((Not) Original thinking here you see.) I can create additional albums, but how do I transfer from one album to another? The only way I can see is to re-upload and delete the old. Or perhaps I should abandon the existing and start a new album next time. Regards, Peter G. Shaw |

![]() 1531 forum posts 44 photos | Thanks Martin, Looks like I'll have to leave as is unless I can a) find the original thread they were posted on; and b) find the original photo out of the many thousands on my computer. In which case I could set up new albums, upload new photos, change the references, and then delete the old photos. Hmm beginning to sound like too much work. Regards, Peter G. Shaw |

Sorry I cannot help with your request but have spotted something else - "many thousands" (of photos) on your `puter. Are you aware that should something go wrong like your `puter acquiring a bug nessitating the hard disc being wiped and re-installation of software, you would loose the lot? "Burn" them on to a re-writable CD for safe keeping. This would also free up a large space on your hard disc with other benefits such as speeding things up.

![]() 1531 forum posts 44 photos | Hi John, Yes, I've got backups and I've got plenty of space - for now that is. Thanks anyway. Peter G. Shaw ps In fact, I really should devote some time to weeding out the rubbish because I 've simply saved everything just as it came of the camera - including the oddities, the blurred, the over/under exposed etc etc etc. Trouble is, I've got too many other interests. |
