147 forum posts 1 photos | Can anyone help with sourcing Titanium wire, grade 1,2,3, or 4?
I need it at about 2mm dia and a total length of about 2 metres. I would also consider changing my design if it was available something like 1mm x 6mm flat in a hard condition.
cheers

147 forum posts 1 photos | Cheers Kwil,
I had looked all over t'internet but no one actually sells small quantities, not even TML.
If I order 2m of 2mm wire the cost is £75, call in and pay cash = no min order value.
thanks

147 forum posts 1 photos | If I go and collect from TML then price is small but will use £30 petrol. Twistfix gives 5 times as much delivered for less than the petrol. Classic example of not what you know but who you know. Thanks for all help. problem solved.
cheers

147 forum posts 1 photos | I have now purchased a supply of Titanium. It wasn't the quantity that caused the problem but the size. 2mm wire. Nearly every source started at 6mm.
All I have to do now is to make plastic toolmakers clamps with the wire clamped at the bottom. If it works as it should I'll put the dwgs up for anyone else to use.
cheers all
