octagonal tips alternative sources?

300 forum posts	Still struggling to get octagonal tips although James at DHL tools in Yeovill can get some direct from Maydown he believes. The price is eye watering, over £75 fo 10. The ISO code is OEMT 05 T3 TR ideally I'd like coated ones anyone got any source apart from Maydown themselves? Meyrick a really big thank you for the source

1017 forum posts 14 photos	Well at that money they'll be good . Mind you, a lot of milling tips are not cheap, but at less than £1 per edge that's not huge. You pay more per edge on the standard CCMT turning tips. For less you can get a Glanze holder AND the cheaper triangular milling tips. Its just having to buy them all at once that hurts.

940 forum posts 30 photos	Ian You may have already tried but I have bought tips from Ebay, mind you they were TCMT, 11mm triangular, but the prices were very low for Sandvik and Kennametal.
