Surprised that there is no post number on the individual replies, saves having reams of Quote passages.

Hi Keith,
You could just create a template file with Notepad with the text you have in your post. Save this file on the desktop (Or anywhere that suits.) When you are ready to post a message first open this text document, highlight all of it. (Put the curser at the start of the file, hold the left mouse key down and drag the curser to the end of the text and release the mouse key.) Now press control C on the keyboard. (This copies it to the past buffer.) Now put the curser in the post message box and press control V. This will put a copy of the template in the message box. Then just type the rest of the message.
Les.

If you are using Firefox look for an add on called WiseStamp.
It lets you select a few different signatures and insert them with a right click menu action, as below.

Hi John,
Last night I tried to find a way to assign a text string to a hotkey or function key.
I did not find any suitable method.
I have just tried your suggestion and it works great. I did have some difficulty getting rid of the logo it was adding to the bottom line but leaving the user name box blank seemed to solve this.  This message was finished using your method.

Thank you for the tip re. Firefox WiseStamp, works great, very useful.

By the way John, my VMC table has no more oil holes in it - yet.
