1585 forum posts 1 photos | This website advert shows price of Print Only paid by CR/DR Card is £47.99 and DD is £43.50, the latter being what I expected and is what's been indicated by a blue spot. My bank says there is a charge on the way for £44.99 from Mortons Media Group, not what the website says. I have been paying by Annual DD for years, so I'm wondering why su a strange variation. ME Renewals on this website show Quarterly DD 65.25, CR/DR £65.99 and Annual DD £58, the latter being what I expect soon. Imagine my surprise at the blue spot appearing against the Quarterly DD! I will reject both from my Bank Account. |

1585 forum posts 1 photos | Oldiron, In my case, I have renewed both mag Subs for Print only by Annual DD, so CR/DR Cards not applicable. I have not changed anything - MORTONS have. Why? I would have thought that one of the several moderators would have seen my original post, but yours is the only response since 1.17pm. I am going to reject any incorrect charges to my bank account. Some one will wake up pretty quick when no dosh arrives! John |

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | The Mods only had very limited access to any Subscription details before now we have none so not much can be done about it here, (Neil can pass on any comments) and yes I did see it. However Morton's Customer service is far better than the old Mags used to be so I suggest you take it up with them, contact details for subscription issues are in the mag and on the web. This would be a quicker way to deal with it as you go direct to Mortons not hoping that Neil will see it and pass it on, he still won't have your subs number or proper name so I doubt he could do much anyway.. Your post reads more as a statement not asking if it could be sorted out.

![]() 19226 forum posts 749 photos 86 articles | Hi DMB, Please understand that due to data protection the moderators and even admin like me don't have full access to subscriber details - with a subs number we can check if a sub is active, but your financial details are, quite rightly, only available to the subscriptions/customer service department. You will always will have found different prices in different places as various different offers are used to attract new readers, I don't know what rate you are supposed to be on (I can't be sure as I don't know your details). It's the case that renewals will go through at the standard rate, not at an introductory offer price. You should receive an email or letter informing you of the charge in advance, and may have missed/not received this. When an offer is in place you can, of course, cancel and take out a new subscription - although I'd advise against this at the moment as subs prices are set to rise by a few pounds (not the cover price and subs will still represent a major saving). To check if you have been charged the wrong amount and to make sure things are sorted, please email [email protected] or call 01507 529589. They are very good and will ensure you have the correct and best deal. Thanks Neil

1394 forum posts 103 photos | Some one will wake up pretty quick when no dosh arrives! Unlikely in my experience. Stop the DD or don't renew & the magazines stop arriving when your paid-up period ends. I have not had any kind of follow up from any publisher when I have stopped a repeating DD subscription or chosen to ignore an annual subscription reminder. Nigel B. |
