Hi

Im changing my Warco mini lathe now i can afford something better.

What is the general feeling about the Sieg SC4 -510

The main attraction for me is lead screw cover, auto travers on both feeds

plus it has a bigger chuck size

I don’t have this lathe, but if you are looking at Arceurotrade, they have a very good rating/reputation. They are my go-to for most things I buy.

I have the Seig SC3 from Arc, it has performed really well the only thing is, I should have gone for the SC4!!!

A friend bought one of the first SC4s from Arc. From what I saw of it it is a capable machine. I was especially pleased to see that the change wheel set included a 127T, so that Imperial threads can be cut without errors.

Another friend wants to buy a lathe, and wants PCF, so have suggested it to him.

An SC4 is an excellent upgrade.

I've had one for years and literally 1,000s of hours work, highly recommended!
