![]() 1129 forum posts 1 photos | Hi All, Just got back from picking up some auction lots and noticed that there were two nice machine tool lots, one unsold. First was a nice Myford ML7 partially restored with ALL parts and lots of tooling which made £320 (+20% commission) The second lot was this Senior Milling Machine as shown. Again, partially restored and absent the horizontal arm. When I talked to the auctioneer he is looking for £350 +comm. I think that it got bid £300 and not sold. I have no idea if this is good value but I post it here in case it is of use to someone. It is not going anywhere over the weekend and I will be happy to provide the auctioneers details. I would have bought the Myford like a shot but was threatened with beheading with a blunt axe by The War Office who was with me! Cheers, Martin |

The spindle tapers are 2 morse and it has the horizontal overarm and original belt guard. Not sure about arbor support. well worth £1,00 +. |

Looks like it is a 2B (with the vertical hand-wheel swivelled round by 90 degrees and no holding bolts fitted). The Horizontal arm lies behind the mill, on the floor. There could very well be a horizontal arbor in that box, adjacent to the motor. I would say well worth a grand, if in good condition - and it certainly looks to be in good condition.
