Doncaster 2022 Exhibition - is it on?

I can't find any recent news on the Doncaster Exhibition - guessing that it's not going to be held. Does anyone have an update?

Doncaster Show At the moment it would appear that the show is yet to be confirmed. I would not want to be in the position of having to call it one way or the other. I have usually booked a hotel by now but I am keeping my powder dry. I could just book anyway as a weekend in Yorkshire is a pleasant experience. I expect the organisers will post on the forums when they can make a firm decision.

I just spoke with Louis Rex. He informed me that regrettably the Doncaster Show is not taking place this year. Their website will be updated with an official statement hopefully by this Sunday.

I'll wait for the official statement, then circulate my own society. We live too far from Doncaster for most members but there may be some who will want to know.

The Midland Model Engineering exhibition WILL be going ahead, tickets are on sale ! ONLY action by the goverment will stop it. This information is from the organisers this morning. The garden railway show by the same organiseres was held only a few weeks ago. Noel.

The Garden Railway Show, 25th June, at the Excel Centre at Peterborough will have Stan Bray, founding editor of MEW exhibiting and stewarding, on the Peterborough Society of Model Engineers stand.
