Hi MichaelG, just goes to show that not everything has to be made to a high accuracy, even the slight wobble on the motor pulley didn't seem to cause any issue. I've used cable ties many times as circular clamps and some of them can be used again if all of them don't need pulling up too far.

As an aside, releasable cable ties are available, and very useful they can be!

Especially as they tend to be wider and stronger than the single use alternative.

Reversing a section of belt to make a custom pulley is a great idea, I wish I'd thought of it.
