There is some serious gear there. Brilliant. Thanks for the link. Shame i was not younger, i would be in for a lot of that gear. Obviously to cash in on. I am sure many forum members will be having a punt on some of that gear.

Not sure about this auction. I am registered with a few auction houses. This one i just tried signing up for as i saw a couple of items , i would not mind owning.

Standard name address etc. E mail, password. All good. Then this is the bit i am not sure about & all the other auction houses do not ask for was. Credit card details including the security code off the back. To me that is a definate no no.

Steve, Just tried signing up for that auction and was straightforward, no request for credit card details.

Ah, I now see where the credit card details comes in however, it did not ask me for the CVV number but when I try to submit the details, it says my email format is invalid despite there being no email field on the page I am filling in!

I do wonder if these questions are to make sure the person actually exists?

How many auctions have you bid on and next time the self same stuff is still there.

I was fine with most of the signup. It was just when at the very bottom of the page. It ask security No. For your Visa card. All the other auction houses have never asked that. It is something done when paying for items bought.
