257 forum posts 14 photos | Not being related to an octopus I struggle to hold a short chunky unbalanced piece of stock in the right position between the clamp jaws, measure the protruding length and tighten the vice handle simultaneously. Clearly I am at a physical or perhaps mental disadvantage to more worldly folk. |

May be handy if you are using it for mitre cuts Myself I just lower the blade until it is just above the workpiece and slide that along until my mark is under the blade Edited By JasonB on 19/05/2021 14:43:00 |

241 forum posts 35 photos | Aha, a use for the £1.99 laser pointer bought, for some unknown reason, from ebay a while back. The question is, should I fit it to the bandsaw, or the Hexacut? |

257 forum posts 14 photos | Way to go Andy ... there has been a lot of interest so I have updated the blog with a download ZIP file with the Gerbers and STEP files. In passing I sent the laser details to the UK Femi agent and they told me that Femi have now starting to fit lasers to their new models starting with the DCS110.
