A take on manufacturing skew gears that I'd not seen before, not a tutorial by any means, but with enough detail on the home-built set-up to be of interest to others, maybe;

Excellent! I've been reading about a Victorian clockmaking firm specialising in using helical gears, with a 1 tooth helical pinion driving 60 tooth wheels in one step. The pinions were planed presumably as shown in the video.

It would also lend itself to CNC with a stationary tool in the spindle and the gear in the 4th Axis.
