![]() 78 forum posts 59 photos | Did anyone watch the Repair Shop on BBC 1 last Wednesday night?. One of the restorers was using a hand held laser cutter, dose anyone know anything about this gadget, who sells them, the cost and what maximum thickness will they cut?. Bert Ashton.

2308 forum posts 33 photos | If it's a plasma cutter then it is good for ferrous and non ferrous metals but you will need a GOOD air compressor. Very handy if you have the work for it. I would be cautious of advertised thickness of cut though and you WILL need consumables in the form of inserts and nozzles. Noel. |
