78 forum posts 59 photos	Did anyone watch the Repair Shop on BBC 1 last Wednesday night?. One of the restorers was using a hand held laser cutter, dose anyone know anything about this gadget, who sells them, the cost and what maximum thickness will they cut?. Bert Ashton.

2308 forum posts 33 photos	If it's a plasma cutter then it is good for ferrous and non ferrous metals but you will need a GOOD air compressor. Very handy if you have the work for it. I would be cautious of advertised thickness of cut though and you WILL need consumables in the form of inserts and nozzles. Noel.
