1817 forum posts 2 photos | I think the Rothenburger is what is known as a self blown torch. The jet of gas entrains air through holes lower down the nozzle. I suspect that some or all of the holes are blocked. Andrew. |

1050 forum posts 56 photos | Fron the way that the flame is lifting off the nozzle I'd say that the gas pressure was too high, That tends to happen with my Bullfinch torch if I overdo it with the regulator, but I can't think how that would come about with the Rothenburger. |
