17 forum posts | I received the latest digital copy of ME yesterday but cannot open it, or in fact any that are stored. When I try to open, I get an Error Message and in brackets at the end (bad refferer). Any ideas please?. |

![]() 25215 forum posts 3105 photos 1 articles | I can't really help much more but will contact Neil to see if he can get someone to look into it. In the past the "bad referrer" did seem to be related to flash as Frances mentioned but that has not been used for over a years worth of mags now. In the mean time I suggest using Pocketmags to view which will hopefully be OK. Other options that seem to have helped in the past are clearing your cache, trying to view from another device preferably on a different internet connection as that will eliminate your ISP as an issue such as mobile phone or work computer. 17 forum posts | Jason, Thanks for your help. I did contact the magazine yesterday and this morning another Jason emailed me with a link that worked. He has suggested that there may be a problem between them and me. |

26 forum posts 7 photos | I have just subscribed to ME Print and digital. I cannot open any digital editions. Error warning tells me I need Adobe Flash Player. Adobe stopped supporting Flash player 20 December and removed the down load from the internet on 20 January. Adobe are warning users to remove flash player from devices as they cannot guarantee security of the system if it continues to be used. I cannot open any digital editions either on I Pad or my Microsoft Lap top. So I have paid for a subscription that I cannot fully use. I have e mailed admin but am waiting for a reply. |

26 forum posts 7 photos | I find it disappointing that the supplier does not warn people of the problem with viewing the digital copies before they are purchased. I understand Neil's comment above about conversions may be available in the future in the mean time I have paid for a subscription that only partially works. In this age of modern technology I think its poor that the supplier is selling a product that only partially works. enough said rant over I will get back in my box. I assume the same problem affects ME Workshop Magazine.? |
