1346 forum posts 15 photos | Good afternoon all, I need a 24 v dc supply to operate a Parvalux motor. Any ideas how to go about it since I have only AC to hand 110,230 380 v I do not have a 24v battery, nor any means of charging one. Thanks in advance for any advice. |

1395 forum posts 30 photos | simplest is two 12V batteries in series - however it depends on what current is required (car batteries will supply 40+ Amps but not for long - utility batteries will tolerate deeper discharges) and for what operation you need the motor for |

I would be concerned about it' safety. Robert G8RPI. |

![]() 3445 forum posts 62 photos | One piece of advice is just ask the question you want to have answered. Like I need a 24 DC supply at around 5 Amps. That way you won't get everyone and his dog second guessing what your motor is. ;O) Martin |

2805 forum posts 219 photos | If, as suggested, you used two 12V batteries you would need some way of charging these. Could this be a conventional car battery charger and is there some better way of maintaining charge in a car battery off the vehicle? Edited By ega on 04/07/2020 15:22:07 |
