102 forum posts | Hi What glue would you recommend for joining wood to PVC pipe? Also what is the best primer to paint on the PVC so the paint does not scratch off? Also can I use epoxy resin to smooth the join between the PVC pipe and wood? Edited By Simon Robinson 4 on 21/06/2020 14:47:00 |

754 forum posts 2 photos | Hi Simon, I'm no expert, but here goes. Roughen the PVC pipe to get a key, and try some polyurethane glue. A little experimentation would be prudent. As for primer, my guess would be an etch primer. Epoxy will tend to find it's own level to some extent, so I'd be inclined to use a 2 part wood or car body filler, or maybe some form of caulk, depending on the intended purpose. |

188 forum posts | You want Devcon Plastic welder 2 part adhesive, this is an acrylite glue intended for plastics. It is also good on metal, wood, glassfiber etc. Hobby shops or Ebay for around £8 or £9. |
