![]() 2668 forum posts 352 photos | Haha. Yes my brother in law bought me some for a laugh. You have to bring the object nearly up to your eye, the magnification is amazing. If you get some do not look at your fingers through them. You can see every cell in your skin. Steve. |

![]() 910 forum posts 303 photos | Steve Jordan on YouTube reviewed some a while back that looked reasonably good, the ones you're looking at are £4 something, postage, ebay fees, profit for seller, manufacturers profit, you're left with something you'd find in Christmas cracker. |

No they are not they are fantastic & even have led lights built in. The only problem is you have to bring the item very close to see clearly. P.s where do you buy your crackers from. Steve. |

2661 forum posts 294 photos | Many years ago i bought a slightly more sophisticated version with lower mag for performing eye surgery. It also cost several hundred pounds back then. They do take a little getting used to when your own hands are within the field of view for accurate depth movements. But for under a fiver these have to be worth a punt.

![]() 6956 forum posts 229 photos | I have a visor type with basic magnification, a flip down double lens then a twist down single lens outside for the right eye. All for a tenner a few years ago. I now see they all have to have LED lights to jack the price up. the advantage of this over the ones with several sets of loose lenses is that you don't lose the extra lenses. |
