Welcome Paul, lots of excellent advice to be found here

A mill is an excellent investment, I have a Tom Senior which is more than capable for my limited bodging needs and I'm learning all the time

A lot can be achieved on the lathe, have a look on YouTube for Ade's Workshop, well worth spending some time admiring his inventive approach on a small lathe - WM180

Hello again Paul, I shouldn't worry about your previous post, we are all pretty laid back on here.

No worries, the only silly question to ask is one you already know the answer to!

A very warm welcome. I've just made the jump to mill ownership myself and the improvements over a vertical slide are well worth it, if only for the reduced hassle!

Welcome.

Welcome Paul. Look on internet for videos by Tubal Cain. Lots of very good machine tuition.
