To be clear the motor was removed from its fridge many years ago long before global warming was an issue and has been waiting for a possible use to arrive. Note is taken also of the good advice re use of a pressure gauge etc. Many thanks for the help received.

453 forum posts 1 photos | Just for info, the tube that is crimped/sealed off is connected to the action side of the compressor, it was the charging port. So your unit has 2 inlets and 1 outlet. |

![]() 191 forum posts 11 photos | Most Air compressors Have a air Filter fitted because they need to breath ,A Sealed unit fridge compressor does not breath . I wonder if you continue pumping out air you will eventually create a vacunm in the unit witch will force it to stop , If when running it seems to be strugerling switch of because the motor is getting overloaded
