![]() 2785 forum posts 87 photos | The encoding of the magazines for the archive on this website seems to have changed. At least on MEW as I no longer subscribe to ME. I used to occasionally print single pages to take into the workshop with me. The prints are useful as you can scribble on them. I now find that issues 275 and earlier I can still print by right clicking on a page when a small window pops up giving the option to print. Later issues now display two pages at a time side by side and the print option has gone. Is it just hidden somewhere I can't see or have the powers that be decided to remove that facility? Russell

![]() 2785 forum posts 87 photos | Thanks Jason and Neil Tried Pocketmags on my usual browser, Firefox version 73.0, and when I try to read one of my MEWs I just get a blank page. OK so I installed Chromium browser. That allows me to read MEWs (and bizarrely ME which I no longer subscribe to). It allows me to print but even with the scale set to the maximum of 200 % I can only get it to fill only about 2/3 of the A4 paper and the result is rather fuzzy - not good for reading drawings. I tried the pocketmags app on my 7" android tablet and it reads OK (with my clip-on magnifier on my glasses) but there doesn't seem to be a print option there. Thanks anyway guys. Russell |

Might be worth you contacting Pocketmags support? Thanks for confirming that you can still read your ME subscription issues after the end of your subscription - it's not bizarre, this is how it is supposed to work. Neil |

![]() 2785 forum posts 87 photos | Thanks again guys, Jason, that's exactly what I would expect. Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I am running Chrome on Linux. I will try again later on Windows 10, after I have updated my Windows installation. Neil, Yes I'll contact Pocketmags support and see what they say. Re., ME; I had assumed, wrongly, that as none of the issues are available on this site the same would apply with Pocketmags. Regards Russell |

With pocketmags you keep access to the copies you have bought (with your sub) for as long as you keep your pocketmags account. Neil |

![]() 2785 forum posts 87 photos | O.K. I've done a bit more investigation. Tried installing Chromium on Windows 10 and everything works well. I don't get the scale option but it came out right first time both on my HP printer and on Microsoft PDF. I think the scale option might depend on the printer connected. Tried Firefox (still at v;72) on W10 and everything worked although the reader did crash once. However Firefox updated itself to v.73.0.1 and the reader no longer displays the magazine contents so I've reported that to Pocketmags support. So, if anyone else is using Firefox on Windows or Linux they would be advised to avoid updating to v.73.0.x if possible and if they wish to use pocketmags on it. I also tried installing the Windows Pocketmags app. It works quite well except that there is only one level of zoom available and no print option as far as I could tell. Russell |
