Petty?

This will probably be seen as petty but hey ho. If you don't ask you will never know..

When I log in I am John Milton 2 there is no other John Milton I can see so can I change this username or can an admin? If another John Milton is a member then can I have another stab at choosing a username or is it not possible for me to change it? #petty

Uploading photos is quite 20th century (sorry but it is) five photos at a time soon gets boring but if we could possibly upload via FTP or have a faster easier way to upload photos maybe there would be more content. I have seen more than one post on the forums saying that uploading is quite involved and complicated.

I have more questions but I will see how well these go down before I ramble on.

JOHN MILTON and JOHN MILTON 1 are already taken but you can try something else.

I don't think things will change any time soon regarding photos but nothing to stop you using another hosting site that will allow you to upload more in one go, that's what I do. Though I don't find this system slow or complicated, more that I post on several sites so easier to use one host.

You should be able to do it by going to Settings up on the green bar at the top of the page and then "my profile"

You could try "John_Milton" as I don't think the other users are very active so should not be any confusion.

If you go into Settings/My Profile you can set your nickname.

Next question, I can't work out how to post in the Classifieds section? There is no new thread button etc.

Go down the right of the page and depending if you want to sell or buy click "more for sale/wanted adds" the screen that comes up will then have "place an ... add" top right.

About the photo album system, I find it easier, and more reliable than the likes of Photo Bucket. Ian S C
